Internship at the Field Kitchen Academy educational residency
At the Field Kitchen Academy we are looking for interns to work, stay and join us for the Silence With the Consent of Sound summer academy between 13 August - 9 September 2020. We will start in Berlin with the preliminaries and then we will move to Wüsten Buchholz – Perleberg, where we will stay for the rest of the academy period.
The Internship
The intern will be involved in organization of daily activities of the Field Kitchen Academy while gaining experience in the practical development and implementation of a trans-disciplinary educational program. In our small team therefore interns will be working close to the project director of the programme. The internship offers experience in a variety of skills, that are essential for a tangible foundation for a future career as a project manager, curator, project administrator, project organizer, etc.
Responsibilities of the intern:
• Support the organizational team and the execution of the project
• Preparation, facilitation, and organization of public events taking place each weekend
• Support in social media
Requirements:
• Interest in art, culture in general and social engagement
• Fluency in English (spoken and written)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Computer skills (for Social Media and Newsletter)
• Willingness to be part of a community for 1 month
• Independent and responsible personality, willing to take initiative to help carrying out activities
• Driving License
Beneficial:
• Basic German
• Experience with photo and video camera
• Having a fund for your internship (Leonardo, Erasmus +, Erasmus Young Entrepreneur, etc.) or internship as part of study track
